Florida Green Watersnake – Nerodia floridana

The Florida Green Watersnake is the largest watersnake in North America reaching lengths of almost 5 feet long. They are known for their nasty reputation of biting when handled but an non-venomous.

Florida Green Watersnakes occur in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
